1/21/10 - New Features

When a user starts a new repair order, there is now an option to have them automatically defaulted as the service advisor for the repair order.

There is now a warning pop-up box that will notify users when they are selling or shipping to an international customer.

The physical inventory screen now has an items on physical inventory count field.
12/22/09 - New Features
-
On the "Repair Order List" report, RO's may now be grouped by repair status.

The vehicle information tab on a repair order will now display a unit's warranty company phone number for easy access.

There is a new Parts & Service security feature that can prevent users from being able to modify the internal dealership customer information.

The Parts Allocation screen may now be filtered by clicking on the column headings.

In Service, if a mechanic is setup with a company number of "0" he will now be able to be added to a job at all locations.

There is now a feature that allows wireless inventory scanners to be used for parts picking.

In company information, there is now a place to enter a separate parts main phone number, parts fax number, service main number, and service main fax number to print on invoices.

There is now a search field on the physical inventory screen to quickly locate parts.
6/10/09 - New Features

Added the ability to filter the service advisor report by warranty submitted date for cashout date

Added new security feature that hides a Credit Card number after it is swiped or entered to the system.

There is now a setting to allow jobs on a repair to automatically use the previous job's repair type. If set, when adding a new repair it should default the repair type to the previous job's repair type.

When selecting a customer on a service ticket, if they only have one vehicle it will default the repair to that vehicle.

New permissions added in service. They give the option to prevent a user from unmarking a completed job, creating a new job, modifying existing complaints, and changing repair codes. Security permissions were also added to permit the modification of completed but not cashed out warranty invoices.

When adding an M or P job in service, the system will automatically use the previous M or P job's warranty company as a default now.

A button was added on the parts picking screen that, with permission, would allow a user to automatically relieve parts on the current ticket.

Added a new permission to make designated public calendars read only.

Added a "Find Next" button when searching canned jobs.
-
There is now the ability to pre authorize a credit card through parts and service.

Warranty Credit entries must now have both credit and debit transactions filled out properly before exiting the screen.

Users can now embed pictures within an email without having to attach them.

On the trade tab under the lien payoff section in Infinity Finance there is now a phone number field.

Users may now easily include unit information within an email sent through the CRM message system. The new email stock number reference field is in the upper right hand corner of the new message screen.

Auto reply emails in the CRM can now be defaulted to an email template.

When using the Drivers License scanner the system will now prompt you with an option to not overwrite any previously existing contact information.

There is a new permission in CRM security that will allow users the ability to add messages for an entity but not change anything else on the record.

Users may now send an outgoing email directly from the vehicle inventory module containing a unit's pictures and specifications. To do this, click on the envelope to the right of the stock number field.
