While Systems 2000 offers unlimited telephone support as part of your monthly maintenance fee, the process of getting up and running quickly and efficiently is made easier by scheduling a Certified Trainer to come to your dealership to assist during the early stages of your start-up. This will help to prevent much of the awkwardness, confusion, and mistakes often experienced during the conversion to new software.

On-Site Training is the very best option to provide training to your employees for the proper use of the Galaxy Dealership System. One of our Certified Trainers will come to your dealership to provide customized instruction to your employees using your computers and your data.

The first goal will be to meet with your key dealership personnel to gain an understanding of how you do business. He/she will do that by walking through the company information setup, as well as the defaults, including the accounting defaults, and asking numerous questions during the process. Once we have finished that process, and have an understanding of your business we can begin training your staff on the Galaxy program.

Over the next several days, we will begin training your employees on using Galaxy on their specific modules. The normal sequence of training is Prospecting, F&I, Parts, Service, Payroll and Accounting. Of course, this sequence can be altered as necessary to accommodate your personnel and their schedules.

Because the system is flexible enough to handle nearly any circumstance, the trainer will help you to customize the way the system will work to accomplish your company’s goals and needs. While the Certified Trainer is not a programmer, he/she is very familiar with how the system can best be used for your purposes. Along the way, your Certified Trainer will suggest recommended ways of handling unique situations.

We think it is in your best interest to operate the complete system immediately after your Certified Trainer has been there, because with each passing week, the employees will forget more and more of the details of what they have been taught.

While this training method costs more initially, it is, in reality, a cost savings if you consider the costs of starting a new computer system without proper training.
